I'm very excited to announce that I got to play the game a few times with the new rules and, after a couple of adjustments, they flow really smoothly! So here's what needs to happen now:

• Recycle what I can from the old game.
• Write out all the little bits I haven't put in yet.
• Design the new playmat, character sheets, and mon/people/location cards.
• Replace the placeholder art on the custom cards (more on that below!) with proper art.
• Proofread everything.

All of the rules and most of the game procedures are already written down, so there's not a looot of writing that needs to happen on my end. Also, I'm aiming for a less ambitious layout this time (Google Docs will do), so that's gonna expedite things.

Here's some features to look forward to:

• Way simpler rules that grant players more flexibility with their scenes while still guiding them towards the tone and pacing.
• A more readable font.
• Tables for generating locations in the wilderness and the village.
• Tables for generating side characters.
• A custom playingcards.io playmat with original cards I designed for the game that replace the regular cards of a playing deck.
  • The game is still fully playable with a regular deck, of course.
• Uma versão em português! Eu estou escrevendo o jogo em dois idiomas ao mesmo tempo. Não tenho como garantir que eu vou lançar a versão traduzida junto da em inglês, mas vai que. Espero traduzir mais dos meus jogos nos próximos meses para aumentar a acessibilidade deles aos meus conterrâneos :).

The last few months of the year are always a bit crazy, but finger's crossed I get all of this done by December!
