Version 0.9 - A Big One!


Version 0.9

I skipped a version number because this one feels so significant that I feel like 0.9 fits it better. The game is pretty much finished, but I still want to test it some more and finish a couple key to-dos before jumping into the 1.x stage. The second playtest campaign is about to start, so we'll see what insight comes from that!

Anyway, here's what's new:

- The game's default rules are now for GMless play, but the rules for making it run with a dedicated facilitator that does not play a main character will be added eventually.

- Added page numbers to files 2 through 4.

- Changed some relationships.

- Adjusted some powers.

- Reworked how crises work.

- Added collaboration options and removed the "assumptions" list.

- Added more structure to the final cycle.

- Added helpful information about the game's phases in the Supplemental Material file.

- Removed the example campaign as I was having too much trouble getting it done.

To do:

- Add rules for GMed play.

- Add gameplay examples.

- Add player principles.

- Polish and add experimental "Tuxedo Mask" mechanic that emerged in the playtest campaign.
